COMMANDING YOUR DESTINY

One of the ways to command your destiny is to speak into it. Ezekiel 2:2 says “And the spirit entered into me when He spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard Him that spake unto me.”

Anchor Passage: Ezekiel 1.

“Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.”

                                                                                                                                                                     Ezekiel 1:20 – 21.

The four creatures in the above anchor passage can be like to a man and the wheels can be liken to the man’s destiny. You must understand that your destiny has no spirit of its own which makes it lifeless but for it to be alive and active, it shares your spirit just like the wheels in Ezekiel 1. So, your action determines the reaction of your destiny, that is when you move, your destiny automatically moves and when you stop, it also stops.

One of the ways to command your destiny is to speak into it. Ezekiel 2:2 says “And the spirit entered into me when He spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard Him that spake unto me.” Anytime you speak, there is a spirit behind the spoken word that either affect your destiny positively or negatively. Whenever you declare that you can’t make it in life, your own spirit aligns with the spirit of failure which is transferred into your destiny but whenever you speak authoritatively that you are the head and not the tail with corresponding actions to back it up, you invoke the spirit of dominion which set your destiny up to its feet. Even though there are forces that fight against destinies nevertheless Jacob told Esau that when He is strong enough, he will break the yoke of bondage off his neck (Genesis 27:40).

“MOREOVER, He said unto me, son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll and go speak unto the house of Israel.” Ezekiel 3:1.

Now you don’t speak empty words into your destiny and expect result. The word that your destiny responds to swiftly is the one that you have found, ate and digested. That is why as a child of God, you must not graduate from the school of the Word, you must keep on laboring in the Word because it’s the Word that propels prayer and its prayer that drives destiny. The day I encountered Mark 16:6, I was so sure and I have been declaring it that I am above my lineage limitation and by the help of God, have achieved many things that no one has ever achieved before in my lineage but have not started yet.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7.

You don’t reap what you do not sow. You can’t reap A’s in your academics when you can’t sow an hour of your night to study, so also you can’t carry the fire of the Holy Ghost when you are not activating the power of prayer and fasting, engaging in kingdom advancement through service and evangelism.

Your destiny is not stagnated in a place because of the pit of hell fighting against it, it’s because you are yet to command it. Stand up to responsibility and see your life progressing from glory to glory. Amen
